    Elaine Y. Hummer, 87, of Hinsdale, died June 19, 2021. Elaine was a longtime teacher at Madison School. She joined the Community Consolidated Elementary District 181 staff in the 1967-68 school year as a third-grade teacher at Walker School before moving to Madison five years later, continuing to teach third grade. She retired in 1999.     Two new Hinsdale residents have tested positive for COVID-19 over the past week. The DuPage County Health Department reported one new cases, and the Cook County Health Department reported one new case. That brings the total number of reported cases in the village to 1,828 up from 1,826 last week.
