    The Hinsdale Chamber of Commerce held its 48th annual Fine Arts Festival in Burlington Park on June 5 and 6.     Two new Hinsdale residents have tested positive for COVID-19 over the past week. The DuPage County Health Department reported one new cases, and the Cook County Health Department reported one new case. That brings the total number of reported cases in the village to 1,828 up from 1,826 last week. Amita Hinsdale Hospital had two confirmed COVID-19 patients and no patients awaiting test results on Wednesday, a spokesman said.   • Railroad work to close Stough Street crossing

    The Stough Street railroad grade crossing will be closed for maintenance July 8-18. Track replacement will occur the weekend of July 10-11 during the day when traffic volumes are at their lowest levels.     The Hinsdale Fire Depart-ment, working with the Hinsdale Water Department, is testing village fire hydrants this summer and fall. Residents are urged to slow down when approaching crews working around flowing fire hydrants and to be careful when approaching standing or flowing water.     The Hinsdale Police Department was back in action last month with its "Stuff the Squad" campaign at District 181 schools. The drive benefited the food pantry at HCS Family Services.
