    COUNTY OFFICIALS TAKE OATH DuPage County hosted an inauguration ceremony Dec. 5 for 23 elected officials who took office. DuPage County State’s Attorney Robert Berlin presided over the event.     Nicholas Walter Waverley, 80, a longtime Clarendon Hills resident, passed away peacefully in hospice at home on Dec. 15, 2022 after a courageous, seven-year battle with kidney disease. Nick was born in 1942 in Pittsburgh where he later met and married his wife, Carol. After being diagnosed in October 2021, the last year of her life was highlighted by a family vacation to Kristin's favorite place on earth, Disney World.     Mary Regina Kenna, 89, of Pleasant Prairie, Wis., formerly of Hinsdale, passed away peacefully with her family by her side Nov. 21, 2022, after a brief struggle with Alzheimer’s disease.
