She spent many years as a housekeeper for the Catholic priests. Diana K. Somrek, 72, of Burr Ridge passed away at her home with her family at her side Sept. 14, 2020. Diana taught in Gower Elementary District 62 for 32 years. She was the fond third-grade teacher of more than 900 students, many of whom still kept in touch with her.
