Marianne was born in Chicago in 1938, raised in Beverly and attended Longwood Academy and DePaul University. She met the love of her life, Bill, at a friend's party and they were married in 1959 at Saint Barnabas Church. The paper earned the Will Loomis Memorial Trophy after receiving the most points in the Illinois Press Associations editorial contest.     Hinsdale police and fire department personnel responded to a fatal train versus pedestrian accident at the Vine Street pedestrian crossing at 11:02 a.m. Wednesday. In a press release following the incident, police reported that a witness observed an adult man jump in front of a westbound freight train.
