Police beat

Hinsdale police distributed the following reports June 12.

DUI arrests

• Neeha C. Gill, 23, 717 Front St., Lisle, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood-alcohol level above .08, speeding, failure to signal when required and improper lane use at 8:25 p.m. June 8 in the 800 block of South Madison Street. The suspect also was in possession of a suspected controlled substance in pill form. She was charged and released to appear in court, with additional charges pending the results of the lab report.

• Elias J. Vargas, 31, 4615 S. Albany Ave., Chicago, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, improper lane use and operating an uninsured motor vehicle at 2:18 a.m. June 10 in the 200 block of East Ogden Avenue. He was charged and released to appear in court.

Arrests on warrants

• Ismael Morroquin Mejia, 40, 4718 S. Seeley Ave., Chicago, was arrested on an active warrant out of Cook County and Chicago at 7:05 p.m. June 6 at UCM AdventHealth Hinsdale Hospital, 120 N. Oak St. He was transported to DuPage County Jail.

• Marco A. Perez Zuniga, 30, 327 E. Victoria Drive, Northlake, was arrested on an arrest warrant out of Cook County and for operating a vehicle while using an electronic communication device at 11:50 a.m. June 9 at York Road and Maumell Street. He posted bond on the warrant and was released to appear in court.

Burglary to motor vehicle

A purse, laptop, tablet and cellphone were stolen from a vehicle between 6:10 and 6:35 p.m. June 10 while it was parked in the lot at Katherine Legge Memorial Park, 5901 S. County Line Road. The vehicle’s windows had been shattered.

Scooter stolen

An electric scooter valued at $300 was stolen between 4:30 and 5 p.m. June 8 from the parkway at County Line Road and Walnut Street.
