Hinsdale police distributed the following reports April 9.

Domestic battery arrest

A 25-year-old Hinsdale man was arrested for domestic battery April 6 after making contact of an insulting or provoking nature with a family member. The suspect also had an active arrest warrant out of Cook County. He was charged and taken to DuPage County Jail.

Arrest after hit and run

Hayden L. Fuller, 31, 548 Phillippa St., Hinsdale, was arrested on a misdemeanor complaint for criminal damage to property on April 2 following a report he had backed his vehicle into another vehicle and left the scene after a verbal altercation at 7:20 p.m. April 1 at Shell Gas Station, 210 E. Ogden Ave. He was released to appear in court.

Vehicle trespass arrest

Olivia M. Pollard, 22, 615 S. Adams St., Hinsdale, was arrested for criminal trespass to vehicle at 9:05 a.m. April 6 after taking family member’s vehicle without permission. She and the vehicle were located by Lyons police. She was charged and released to appear in court.

Theft reported

A purse and sunglasses went missing between 3 p.m. March 23 and noon March 27 from a home in the 5600 block of Childs Avenue. Contractors were in the house during the time frame of the theft, which was reported April 4.

Shoplifting incident

Someone stole items from Shell Food Mart, 210 E. Ogden Ave., and left without paying at 3:10 a.m. April 7.

Identity theft cases

• The identity of a resident of the 600 block of South Washington Street was used in an attempt to obtain a loan on March 26. The incident was reported April 2.

• Someone used the identity of a resident of the 300 block of Hampton Place to open a bank account March 25. The incident was reported April 5.

Arrests do not constitute conviction of a crime, and individuals listed here should be presumed innocent until proven guilty.
