Michael J. Tolar, 74, a longtime Willowbrook resident, passed away Aug. 5, 2021, at home.

He was born in 1947 in Cicero.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marcia Janice Tolar, nee Daujotas.

He is survived by his children, Melissa (Jonathan Ballak) Tolar, Matthew (Erica), Marc, Michael (Rosie) and Mitchell Tolar; his granddaughter, Charlotte Tolar; his siblings-in-law, Kerry and Dominick Galvin; his nephews, Frank and Nick Galvin; and his great-nephew, Sam Galvin.

Visitation is from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 13, at Sullivan Funeral Home Hinsdale, 60 S. Grant St., Hinsdale.

Prayers will be said at 9:30 a.m. before proceeding to St. Isaac Jogues Church, 306 W. Fourth St., Hinsdale, for a 10 a.m. funeral Mass.

Interment is at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
