Eugenia “Genie” Nowak, nee Kowitz, 92, a longtime resident of Hinsdale, passed away Dec. 2, 2020.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Walter Nowak; and her daughter, Mary Frances Nowak.

She is survived by her children, Catherine Blattner, Martin Nowak and Anne (Russ) LaBarge; her five grandchildren; her four great-grandchildren; her sister, Veronica Cullen; and her dear friend, Frank Hanzlik of Hinsdale.

A private graveside service will be held at Bronswood Cemetery in Oak Brook.
