1U GOLD ADDS ANOTHER WIN The 10U Gold Falcons were able to push their season record to 6-1 thanks to some fantastic blocking by the team and tremendous running by Charles Calhoun and Owen Sunderson. Three first-half touchdowns were scored on the ground, all by Calhoun, that pushed the score to 20-0 at the half. Thanks to some fantastic team defense, the Golden Eagles were able to score only 13 points in the second half. 2U SHUTS OUT PANTHERS The Hinsdale Falcons 11U Gold picked up a much-needed victory Saturday against the Downers Grove Panthers. The final score of 20-0 was indicative of the Falcons’ complete effort on both sides of the ball. For the team’s veterans, the win avenged two years of losses to the Panthers. LOMBARD SHUTS OUT 11U GOLD The Hinsdale Falcons 11U Gold lost a tough game against the Lombard Falcons Sunday by a final score of 12-0. After kicking off to Lombard, Hinsdale started out strong with defensive end Tommy Riordan forcing a fumble, which was recovered by safety Charlie Fox on the game’s opening play from scrimmage.
