Oak delivers a world of wonder for its sister school

For the second year, students in fifth grade at Oak School hosted a free book fair for children at their sister school, Drexel Elementary in Cicero. More than 4,000 new and gently used books were collected. Each Drexel student received six books of their own choosing and the rest were kept by the teachers for their classrooms. After the book fair, Oak students read to kindergarten, first and second grade Drexel students. Henry Waterman listens while Hector reads his book. Dexter student Dylan shows Destiny his book, "Are You a Cheeseburger?" Oak students Ben Murphy and Keegan McCoskey read different roles in their book to Liam. Owen Parry and Tommy Kienzler read to Julian and Geraldo. Drexel students were able to choose their own books from tables set up in their gym. Ellison Holmes enjoys a book that Berenice selected.
