The village is looking for residents who are interested in serving on one of the village’s advisory boards and commissions to fill some existing vacancies.
The village has six commissions dedicated to economic development, finance, planning, historic preservation, electrical and parks and recreation. Residents also may apply to serve on the firefighters pension board, the police pension board, the board of fire and police commissioners and the zoning board of appeals.

The village president appoints the volunteer members to these groups with approval of the village board.
