Marilyn H. "Peach" McNichols

Marilyn H. "Peach" McNichols, nee Healy, 94, of Longboat Key, Florida, and Oak Brook, passed away on March 27, 2023, at her home in Oak Brook. Marilyn was the beloved wife of the late Austin A. "Duke" McNichols; loving mother of Robert (Karen), Susan "Susie" (John) Cassidy, James (Jill) and the late William McNichols; cherished grandmother of Matthew McNichols and Elizabeth (Justin) Bollinger, Kaitlin "Katie" (Mike) Gogola, Sally, Austin and Lillian "Lilly" McNichols; dear great-grandmother of Robbie and Gracie Bollinger; dearest sister of the late Gwen (the late Harry) Baldwin, the late Patricia (the late Patrick) Boland, the late Wayne (the late Eileen) Healy, and stepsister of Jane Healy; and fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Marilyn was a graduate of Trinity High School, River Forest, Illinois, and attended Marymount College, NY, and Barat College, Lake Forest, IL where she received her teaching degree. A devout Catholic and parishioner of St. Mary Star of Sea in Longboat Key and St. John of the Cross in Western Springs, she was an avid follower of Mercy Home for Boys and Girls on television. She was the longest standing member, at the time of her death, of Butterfield Country Club, Oak Brook. Marilyn will be missed by her loving family and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass, 11:30 a.m. at Notre Dame Church, 64 Norfolk Ave. Clarendon Hills. Interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery will be private.
