Hinsdale police distributed the following reports Nov. 22.

DUI arrest

Stephen F. Gutgsell, 46, 2458 S. Seventh Ave., Riverside, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood-alcohol content higher than .08, illegal stopping/standing/parking, improper lane use and transportation or possession of open alcohol by a driver at 1:16 a.m. Nov. 22 at York and Spring roads. He was charged and released to appear in court.

Motorist caught with revoked license

Dominic O’Neill, 53, 31520 County Line Road, Dowagiac, Mich., was arrested for driving with a revoked license and driving an uninsured vehicle at 12:50 p.m. Nov. 21 at Madison Street and Plainfield Road. O’Neill also had an active arrest warrant out of DuPage County. He posted bond on the warrant and was charged and released to appear in court.

Forced entry to home, jewelry stolen

The back door of a home in the 100 block of East Eighth Street was broken into and the home was rummaged through between 3 p.m. Nov. 12 and 10:50 a.m. Nov. 19. Jewelry was reported missing from the house. The victims were not home when the burglary occurred.

Residential garage burglarized

Tools and lawn equipment were stolen from the garage of a vacant house between Nov. 1 and 9 in the 400 block of Mills Street. The victim observed the garage door was partially off its track and a padlock had been damaged. The incident was reported Nov 15.

Package stolen from front door

A package was stolen between 6 a.m. Nov. 14 and 1:30 p.m. Nov. 15 after it was delivered to the front door of a home in the 400 block of Bonnie Brae Road.

Threatening text message reported

Someone sent threatening text messages to a resident in the 900 block of South Adams Street between Nov. 10 and 19.

Store burglarized, eyeglass frames taken

A bay window was broken at Eyecare, 777 N. York Road, and eyeglass frames were missing from the store. The incident occurred between 6 p.m. Nov. 17 and 9:55 a.m. Nov. 18.

Identity theft reported

An energy account was opened using the identity of a resident of the 500 block of Bonnie Brae Road on Nov. 12. The account accumulated a balance of $2,173. The incident was reported Nov. 18.

Gas pump vandalized

Graffiti was scratched onto one of the gas pumps at Shell Gas Station, 210 E. Ogden Ave., between Oct. 31 and Nov. 15.
