Construction work around Hinsdale Central has been extra busy this summer. During the first days after school let out, several Bobcats were driving the halls of Hinsdale Central to the cafeteria to begin demo work. Friday afternoon a helicopter from Midwest Helicopter in Willowbrook was used to lift several HVAC units onto the roof. They will be used to cool the library, cafeteria and other offices. Because of construction, the first day of school this year has been pushed back until Tuesday, Sept. 6. Freshman will have a full day, with sophomores, juniors and seniors attending in the afternoon.
