Hinsdale High School District 86 is hosting a job fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, at Hinsdale Central High School, 55th and Grant streets.
The district is looking to fill the following openings for the 2022-23 school year:
• teacher’s assistant/paraprofessional (full-time)
Receive no cost health insurance or $5,000 cash for waiving insurance if eligible, an educational bonus of $1,200 for those with a college degree, 10 paid holidays, paid time off and a pension through the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund.
• buildings and grounds staff — custodians, maintenance workers, etc. (full-time). Receive no cost health insurance, 13 paid holidays, paid time off and an IMRF pension. There are also opportunities to learn a trade while on the job.
• substitute teachers. Earn $150 per day.
