WALK THE WALK A SUCCESS

More than 400 people came out to the Walk the Walk for Mental Health at The Community House May 15, raising almost $50,000 in support of equitable mental health services in the community.

The top fundraising team was Life Insight.

The top individual fundraiser was Carol Schwerha.

The Madison Elementary Panthers won the Big Blue Shoe Trophy for the highest participation among District 181 schools.

Proceeds from the walk are used to support The Counseling Center at The Community House, which has provided counseling services to the community for more than 25 years. Services are provided on a sliding scale, providing equitable access to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay.
