Virginia A. "Ginny" Rea, nee Battershell, 76, of Darien died March 11, 2022.

Ginny was a proud alum of Longwood Academy, where she solidified lifelong friendships. Ginny loved to dance, travel and spend time with her friends and family. She will be missed dearly.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert J. Rea; her children, Kerry (Michael) Turgeon of Hinsdale and Kelly (Pete) Yensel; her grandchildren, Ryan, Katie and Meghan Turgeon and Jack, Will and Joseph Yensel; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 26, at St. Isaac Jogues Church, 306 W. Fourth St., Hinsdale.

Inurnment will follow at Bronswood Cemetery in Oak Brook.
