Sixty-three Hinsdale residents have tested positive for COVID-19 over the past week.
The DuPage County Health Department reported 58 new cases, and the Cook County Health Department reported five new cases.
That brings the total number of reported cases in the village to 2,360, compared to 2,297 last week.
Amita Hinsdale Hospital had 23 confirmed COVID-19 patients and no patients awaiting test results as of Wednesday, a spokeswoman said.
Hinsdale Central High School reported 11 positive cases, 18 in isolation and no one in quarantine as of Dec. 10. Vaccination rates are 81 percent for Central students and 95 percent for D86 staff.
In Community Consolidated Elementary District 181, 19 positive cases were reported Dec. 8-15, involving 14 students, two teachers. and three staff members. The district had 11 students in quarantine as of Dec. 10.
The rolling seven-day positivity rate for Region 8, which includes DuPage County, was 6.3 percent on Dec. 11, compared to 6.5 percent the previous week.
Illinois has administered almost 18.3 million doses of vaccines. An average of 68,908 doses are being administered daily, compared to about 69,951 last week.
The percentage of individuals fully vaccinated is almost 69.4 percent in DuPage County and about 72 percent in the 60521 ZIP code.
