Shaking things up musically - Children in the Union Church Early Childhood Program were entertained by mariachi performer Tessa Lopez-Kadich on the patio last week. She performed several songs and passed out mini maracas for the children to join in. This year students in the UCECP program are focusing on music and sound. For the Mexican festival of Dia de los Muertos, students crafted and decorated with marigolds, sugar skulls and papel picado. Brooklyn Hodge, Emma Guidice, Kate Reko, Finn Arquilla and Max Molepske joined in on the musical fun. (Jim Slonoff photo)
