In-person early voting open for April election

In-person early voting for the Tuesday, April 6, election is underway.

Early voting on paper ballots is available at the DuPage County Fairgrounds, 2015 Manchester Road, Wheaton. Hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays through March 20, then 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through April 5.

Touchscreen early voting runs from March 22 to April 3 at temporary sites and April 5 at permanent sites. The closest temporary early voting locations are Oak Brook Village Hall, 1200 Oak Brook Road, and Downers Grove Village Hall, 801 Burlington Ave.

The closest permanent early voting location is the Shops at Yorktown, No. 42 in Lombard.

Early voting in Cook County opens March 22.

For those who are not registered to vote, “Grace Period” registration continues through April 5.

Registration can be done in person at Hinsdale Village Hall, 19 E. Chicago Ave., from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays.
