World language teachers at Hinsdale Central select Star Students two times a semester, recognizing them for having a strong interest in a world or classical language, making positive contributions to the classroom environment, exhibiting a passion for learning a second language and inspiring their peers.

Several English language learner students in Community Consolidated Elementary District 181 were named winners in the Illinois Teachers of English — Bilingual Education 17th annual statewide Elementary Poetry Contest.

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago has announced that Steve Jasinski and the Jasinski Home Team have joined the company’s Hinsdale office.

The Jasinski Home Team is an award-winning team of seven real estate professionals serving several west suburban communities, including Hinsdale. Previously with Baird & Warner, their closed sales volume for 2020 was almost $30 million.
