    Last Saturday, Schaumburg High School hosted the IHSA girls wrestling sectional. The meet brackets featured eight Hinsdale Central grapplers.     WATCKE NAMED PLAYER OF THE year Hinsdale Central’s Dan Watcke has been named the 2022-23 Gatorade Illinois Boys Cross Country Player of the Year. This award “recognizes not only outstanding athletic excellence, but also high standards of academic achievement and exemplary character demonstrated on and off the field.” It also distinguishes Watcke as Illinois’ best high school boys cross country runner.
