Daniel Isacson, 88, a longtime resident of Hinsdale, Western Springs and Clarendon Hills, passed away peacefully Dec. 8, 2024, surrounded by his family at Hinsdale Hospital.
Born in 1936 in Oak Park, Dan was the son of Howard and Blanche Isacson. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father and proud grandfather. Dan’s family was his greatest joy; he took immense pride in watching his grandchildren grow and thrive.
Dan is survived by his wife, Anita; their four children, Debra (Jim), Scott (Heather), Michael (Susan) and Craig; and his grandchildren, Noah (fiancée Emily), Clayton, Reese, Claire, Annika and John.
Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15, at Adolf Powell Funeral Home, 7000 S. Madison St., Willowbrook.
A funeral Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 16, at Notre Dame Parish, 64 Norfolk Ave., Clarendon Hills. Interment is at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice.
