Marion Zerfoss and Joseph Florio were married June 15, 2024, at St. Edmund Catholic Church in Oak Park, with a reception at Medinah Country Club. Father Rex officiated the ceremony.
Margaret Weiss was the matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Katie Papadakis, Patrice Pappas, Irene Weik and Angelica Florio. Dea Pappas was the flower girl.
Juliano Florio and Samuel Vlahos served as best men. Groomsmen were Joel Hueramo, Adam McIntosh and Samuel Cascio. Benedetto Nardulli served as the ring bearer, and Daniel Zerfoss and Kearsten Nardulli were the ushers.
The bride was the fourth generation to celebrate marriage at Medinah Country Club. The reception featured an old-school black and white theme with luxurious gold accents. The venue was adorned with orchids and ranunculus.
The bride is the daughter and Gary and Barb Zerfoss of Oak Brook. She graduated from Downers Grove North High School and earned her bachelor's degree from Indiana University. She is employed at Weller Dental in Hinsdale.
The groom is the son of Michael and Rita Florio of Oak Brook. He attended Montini Catholic High School and University of Iowa. He works at Casa Nostra, a family-owned bakery.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Bora Bora, and they now live in Graue Mill in Hinsdale.
