Hinsdale police distributed the following reports Aug. 7.
DUI Arrest
Nereida Muniz, 29, 7053 W. 40th St., Berwyn, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, resisting or obstructing a peace officer, speeding and operating an uninsured vehicle at 12:02 a.m. Aug. 1 at Ogden Avenue and Pasquinelli Drive. Muniz refused to submit to testing to determine a blood-alcohol content and was charged and released to appear in court.
Disorderly conduct arrest
Daniel Zarco, 26, 134 E. Maple St., Hinsdale, was arrested for disorderly conduct at 4:15 p.m. July 30 at Grant Street and Ayres Avenue. Police were dispatched to a hit-and-run crash, with the victim reporting the crash occurred after a road rage altercation and that Zarco confronted him while displaying a handgun. Zarco was cited and released to appear in court.
Hit-and-run arrest
Lawrence P. Filippa, 77, 6430 Emerald Court, Willowbrook, was arrested for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and failure to report an accident to police at 10:50 a.m. July 29 at Maple and Washington streets. A witness observed Filippa crash into the victim’s vehicle while attempting to park and then flee the scene. Filippa was cited and released to appear in court.
Liquor stolen from store
Suspects were observed on surveillance video stealing bottles of liquor from Whole Foods, 500 S. Ogden Ave., at 4:19 p.m. July 30.
