The Hinsdalean - Community journalism the way it was meant to be

First on the block - The Craftsman-style home at 510 N. Lincoln St. has held its ground and gained neighbors since its 1911 construction as the first home built in that corner of Hinsdale. The land was previously part of the Ayres Farm, sold as development became a more profitable enterprise than farming in the growing suburb.
