Hinsdale police distributed the following reports Feb. 1 and 8.
Esteban P. Hernandez, 33, 71 Stirling Lane, Willowbrook, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood-alcohol content higher than .08 and speeding at 2:37 a.m. Feb. 5 at 55th Street and Holmes Avenue. He was charged and released to appear in court.
Hit and run arrest
Michael L. Montefinese, 58, 4500 Florence Ave., Downers Grove, was arrested for failure to remain at the scene of a vehicle damage accident for an incident at 2:18 p.m. Feb. 3 in the parking lot of McDonald’s, 935 N. York Road. The victim reported the suspect hit her car in the drive-through and left.
Lamon J. Golf, 36, 3612 W. Lexington, Chicago, was arrested for driving with a suspended license and driving without valid insurance at 10:45 p.m. Jan. 31 at Lincoln Street and Ogden Avenue. Golf was cited and released to appear in court.
Airpods, cash stolen
• A set of airpods worth $250 were stolen from a locker room at Hinsdale Middle School, 100 S. Garfield Ave., between 5 and 5:30 p.m. Jan. 26.
• A victim reported $140 in cash was missing from her vehicle after it was left at Land Rover, 336 E. Ogden Ave., for service between noon and 8 p.m. Jan. 24.
Car stolen from lot
A 2022 Ford Edge was stolen from the used car lot at Land Rover, 336 E. Ogden Ave., at 2:22 a.m. Jan. 25. The theft was reported Feb. 2.
Identity thefts reported
• In two cases, someone gained access to the bank account of a Hinsdale resident to make $25,000 worth of unauthorized withdrawals.
One incident, reported Jan. 30, involved a resident of the 400 block of Fuller Road and took place Jan. 18.
The second involved a resident of the 5600 block of South Park Avenue and occurred between 8 a.m. Jan. 23 and 5 p.m. Jan. 24.
In both cases, the transactions were frozen prior to any loss to the victims.
• Someone used the identity of a resident of the 400 block of West 58th Place to open a bank account on Sept. 19. The incident was reported Feb. 2.
