William Kendall Rodi of Wilmette, formerly of Hinsdale, passed away Jan. 22, 2023.
Bill grew up in Hinsdale and was a graduate of Hinsdale Central High School, a 1990 graduate of St. John's College in Annapolis, Md., principal founder of RPM Advertising and a recipient of numerous advertising awards, including several EFFIE's. He was a beloved inspiration to the Chicago advertising community. Bill will be remembered for his brilliant and creative mind; as being a wordsmith; for his quick, sometimes biting wit; for his love of knowledge, music and fast motorcycles; and for his urbane classy dress and his handsome face.
He is survived by his wife, Maria; his daughter, Kendall, his mother, Linda; his siblings, Renee Rodi and Chris (Ashley) Rodi; and his nieces, Kemper and Edy.
He was preceded in death by his father, William.
A funeral Mass was held Jan. 30 at St. Isaac Jogues Church in Hinsdale.
Interment was at Bronswood Cemetery in Oak Brook.
