Man wanted in murder case arrested in Hinsdale

Hinsdale police were waiting Wednesday afternoon to learn if charges would be filed against a man they arrested Monday afternoon in the central business district.

At about 2 p.m., a Hinsdale officers spotted a vehicle sought in a homicide that occurred about noon in far west suburban Montgomery. One male driver was in the vehicle, which was parked on Garfield Avenue just north of First Street.

Hinsdale officers blocked the vehicle into the parking space and safely took the driver into custody. They recovered a firearm from the vehicle, which was towed to the Hinsdale Police Department. The suspect was turned over to the Montgomery Police Department for charges.

Montgomery police were called shortly after noon Monday to the 1300 block of Oak Ridge Lane for an unresponsive subject who suffered a gunshot wound in a domestic incident, according to a Facebook post from their police department.
