Hinsdale police distributed the following reports July 20.

Arrest for drug possession, DUI

Tim Griffin, 52, 816 S. Adams St., Westmont, was arrested for felony possession of controlled substance, driving under the influence of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and stopping on the roadway at 1:21 a.m. July 18 at Route 83 and 55th Street. The suspect was found asleep at the wheel stopped in the roadway. He was charged and taken to DuPage County Jail.

Arrest for suspended license, warrant

Unique S. Ingram, 21, 326 Swanton Road, Madison, Wis., was arrested for driving with a suspended license and improper display of registration at 11:49 p.m. July 13 at Ogden Avenue and County Line Road. Police also discovered the suspect had an active arrest warrant out of Kane County. She posted bond on the warrant and was assigned a court date and was cited for the traffic offenses and released to appear in court.

Vehicle stolen from garage

A vehicle was reported stolen at 1:56 a.m. July 17 while it was parked in his garage in the 5800 block of South Washington Street.

Vehicle burglarized in driveway

A vehicle was entered and rummaged through between 7 a.m. July 16 and 3 p.m. July 17 while it was parked on a driveway in the 100 block of Glendale Avenue. Nothing was reported missing from vehicle.

Fence damaged

A wooden fence was damaged on July 9 at Hinsdale Racquet Club, 5730 S. Grant St. The cost of repairs was estimated at $150. The incident was reported July 14.

Identity theft reported

The identity of a resident of the 200 block of South Adams Street was used to open a credit card account on July 6. The incident was reported July 16.
