Randall L. Hotchkin, 74, of Downers Grove died April 27, 2022.
Randy started his dedicated career in nonprofit organizations as a youth outreach director at the Rich Port YMCA in LaGrange Park and eventually as assistant director of The Community House in Hinsdale. He also lent his expertise as director of the Reach Out Food Pantry in Blue Island.
He is survived by his wife, Christine Hotchkin, nee Bowman; his son, Kurt; his daughter-in-law, Erin Hotchkin; his grandchildren, Taylor, Ethan and Tristan Hotchkin; and his brothers-in-law, Hanan (Liz), Jon (Rochelle) and Peter (Suzanne) Bowman.
He was preceded in death by his son, Gunnar Hotchkin; his parents, Roy Hotchkin and Ly Hart Hotchkin; and his stepfather, Charles Childress.
Visitation is from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, May 6, at Sullivan Funeral Home, 60 S. Grant St. Hinsdale.
A memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. The family invites all who attend the memorial service to a reception following at The Community House, 415 W. Eighth St., Hinsdale, with drinks and light supper.
