Hinsdale police distributed the following reports April 5.
DUI arrest
Ethan G. Lanoff, 31, 6608 N. Leroy Ave., Lincolnwood, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood-alcohol content higher than .08, speeding and improper lane use at 1:50 a.m. April 3 at Route 83 and Ogden Avenue. He was charged and released to appear in court.
Leaving the scene arrest
Michael D. Garner, 33, 339 Bluff Ave., La Grange, was arrested on a felony charge of leaving the scene of an accident resulting in personal injury at 8:04 a.m. Nov. 23 at Route 83 and Ogden Avenue. Police were dispatched that day to a rollover accident involving four vehicles, and witnesses reported the offending vehicle fled the scene, leaving behind the front bumper and license plate. Police contacted the vehicle’s owner, who reported her car was stolen to Lyons police. An arrest warrant was obtained for the suspect on Jan. 31, and he was taken into custody April 3 by Bloomingdale police before being extradited to Hinsdale. He posted bond on two additional arrest warrants out of DuPage County and was released to appear in court.
Retail theft arrest
Kate M. Kolodzik, 37, 625 Rose Ave., Des Plaines, was arrested for retail theft for being in possession of miscellaneous personal items totaling about $100 that she took from Walgreens, 15 Grant Square, without paying at 7:51 p.m. April 1. She was charged and released to appear in court.
Warrant arrest
Martin J. Lamar, 30, 4411 Idlewild Lane, Hillside, was stopped for speeding at 2:20 a.m. April 2 at Route 83 and Ogden Avenue when police discovered he had an active arrest warrant out of DuPage County. He posted bond and was released to appear in court.
License citation
Edwin Gamble, 38, 26 E. 137th Place, Riverdale, was arrested on a felony charge of aggravated driving with a revoked license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle at 12:45 a.m. March 30 at Interstate 294 and Ogden Avenue. He had an active arrest warrant out of Cook County and was taken to Cook County Jail.
Fraud reported
Someone called a resident of the 1400 block of Burr Oak Court pretending to be a family member needing money to post bond after an arrest at 9:30 a.m. March 31. The victim met with an unknown suspect claiming to be a bail bondsman and gave him $9,500.
Credit card fraud
Someone made a fraudulent credit card purchase of $366.12 for vehicle parts at Land Rover, 336 E. Ogden Ave., on March 15. The incident was reported March 29.
