Hinsdale police distributed the following reports Nov. 23.

DUI arrests

• Joseph De La Cruz, 46, 8300 Collie Ave., Morton Grove, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and having no headlights or taillights displayed at 12:45 a.m. Nov. 13 in the 400 block of East Ogden Avenue. He was charged and released to appear in court.

• Michelle Gallagher, 52, 4416 W. Fey Lane, Alsip, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol and for having no headlights or taillights displayed at 1:31 a.m. Nov. 14 in the 200 block of West Ogden Avenue. She had an open container of alcohol on her front passenger seat. She was charged and released to appear in court.

Battery at business

A customer reportedly threw a container of soda at an employee at 4:41 p.m. Nov. 7 at a business in the 900 block of North York Road and then fled the scene.

Truck vandalized

Juveniles were seen throwing eggs at a truck at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 6 in the 800 block of West Chicago Avenue, causing a dent and chipping the truck’s paint. The suspects were described as appearing to be high school age.

Vehicle flees police

A vehicle sped up and fled after an attempted stop by a police officer for traffic violations at 12:57 a.m. Nov. 12 at Route 83 and 55th Street. The officer was advised to terminate pursuit.

Identity theft reported

Personal information belonging to a resident of the 100 block of South Adams Street was used to open multiple credit cards as reported at 3:19 p.m. Nov. 17. The victim received notification from her bank regarding a hard inquiry on her credit and also received several emails from Lifelock regarding fraudulent activity. The credit cards were canceled and a credit freeze was put on her accounts.
