Housewarming pre-party at Wright house

The octagonal library is one of

the distinguishing features of the Bagley House at 121 S. County Line Road, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and built in 1894. The Hinsdale Historical Society organized an open house Sunday afternoon, and welcomed more than 200 people. New owner Safina Uberoi (center) spends some time with visitors in the kitchen. She and her husband, Lukas, learned the house was in danger of being demolished from the Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy this summer and decided to purchase and renovate it. The couple has spent the past five years restoring another Wright home outside Cincinnati. (photos by Jon Langham for The Hinsdalean)
