The Hinsdalean - Community journalism the way it was meant to be

With portions of a couple of streets closed off, shoppers flocked to Hinsdale's downtown business district to take part in the Hinsdale Chamber of Commerce's annual sidewalk sale July 23 and 24. In spite of near record-breaking heat, many merchants were pleased with the turnout. The chamber is currently making plans for a fall sidewalk sale on Saturday, Oct. 23. (Jim Slonoff photos)
