Hinsdale police released the following reports Feb. 23.

Controlled substance arrest

Shant J. Taroyan, 42, 9120 Cherry Ave., Morton Grove, was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance, felony possession of methamphetamine, speeding and operating an uninsured motor vehicle at 3:10 a.m. Feb. 18 in the 400 block of East Ogden Avenue. Police found plastic baggies containing white powdery substances that field tested positive for meth and cocaine. He was charged and taken to DuPage County Jail.

Pistol found under front seat

Marc Vondel Whitfield Jr., 25, 820 Becker St., Hammond, Ind., was arrested on a misdemeanor count of unlawful use of weapons/firearm in vehicle or concealed after he was stopped for an equipment violation at 9:03 p.m. Feb. 22 at Route 83 and Oak Brook Road and police found a pistol under the front passenger seat. He was charged and released to appear in court.

DUI arrests

• Timmothy T. Williams, 42, 825 N. Christiana Ave., Chicago, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood-alcohol content of higher than .08 at 4:38 p.m. Feb. 17 at Elm Street and Fuller Road. Police were dispatched to an unresponsive person at the wheel of a running vehicle. He was charged and released to appear in court.

• Lizbeth Marie Sabater, 30, 1220 N. Pulaski, Chicago, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, improper window tinting, driving without a valid license, driving a motor vehicle on the sidewalk and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident at 6:55 a.m. Feb. 21 in the 10 block of East Ayres Street. The suspect was observed sleeping behind the wheel after she drove off the road into a snowbank. She was charged and released to appear in court.

Driver arrested for suspended license

Armando Quinonez, 40, 517 Dempster St., No. 1N, Mt. Prospect, was arrested for driving with a suspended license and driving with one headlight at 2:21 a.m. Feb. 21 at Route 83 and 55th Street. He was charged and released to appear in court.

Object shatters window

An object struck the window of a home in the 600 block of South Washington Street, causing it to shatter, at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 19.
