Hinsdale police distributed the following reports Feb. 2.

DUI arrests

• Jose I. Esteban, 56, 5236 N. Oakview St., 2W, Chicago, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, disobeying a traffic control device and failing to signal when required at 2:53 a.m. Jan. 24 at Ogden Avenue and York Road. He was charged and released to appear in court.

• Deepak Malhotra, 61, 1923 Flagstaff Lane, Glendale Heights, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood-alcohol level higher than .08 and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident at 8:57 p.m. Jan. 28 after he crashed his vehicle into a vehicle legally parked on the street in the 200 block of South Bruner Street. He was charged and released to appear in court.

Motorist arrested for warrant

Aristos M. Leludis, 71, 4509 Maple Ave., Brookfield, was arrested on a warrant out of Lyons at 10:15 a.m. Jan. 30 in the 100 block of East Ogden Avenue. He posted bond and was released to appear in court.

Park ice rink vandalized

A “No Skating” sign was damaged as was the liner of the ice skating rink at Burns Field, 321 N. Vine St. between 2:30 a.m. Jan. 22 and 7:30 a.m. Jan. 27.

Resident defrauded

A resident of the 400 block of South Jackson Street sold a $500 video game console through eBay on Jan. 13 and did not receive payment from buyer. The incident was reported Jan. 27.

House window broken

A glass window was broken on the second floor of a vacant and fenced-in house on the 400 block of East Sixth Street at 10 p.m. Jan. 29.

Credit card fraud reported

A credit card belonging to a resident of the 400 block of South Monroe Street was used to make fraudulent purchases totaling $1,041.68 at 1:30 a.m. Jan. 25. The credit card company canceled the card and removed the charges from the victim’s account.
