Hinsdale police distributed the following reports Oct. 20 & 28.

Driver arrested with loaded gun

Daniel O. Soetan, 23, 1415 W. Pratt Blvd., No. 304, Chicago, was arrested for felony aggravated unlawful use of weapon, speeding, operating an uninsured vehicle and possession of open alcohol by a driver at 1:05 a.m. Oct. 25 in the 10 block of East Ogden Avenue. The suspect was stopped for speeding, at which time police found a loaded firearm under a passenger seat and an open bottle of alcohol in the vehicle. He was charged and taken to DuPage County Jail.

DUI arrest

Robert McGlory, 57, 6418 W. Palmer St., No. 2E, Chicago, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood-alcohol content higher than .08 and improper lane use at 2:25 a.m. Oct. 24 at Interstate 294 and 55th Street. He was charged and released to appear in court.

Arrests for license violations

• James M. Meyer, 35, 434 S. Lincoln St., Hinsdale, was arrested for driving with a revoked license at 12:19 p.m. Oct. 25 in the 100 block of West First Street. He was charged and released to appear in court.

• Robert E. Alexander, 34, 3914 Clinton Ave., Stickney, was arrested for driving with a suspended license and speeding at 3:21 a.m. Oct. 24 in the 300 block of Ogden Avenue. The suspect had an active arrest warrant from Cook County. He posted bond on the warrant and was charged with the traffic counts and released to appear in court.

Street sign vandalized

Police located a street sign marker from Eighth and Oak streets in the parkway at Woodland Avenue and County Line Road at 1:52 a.m. Oct. 17. The street sign was bent with fresh dirt on the base.

Vehicle damaged

A man was seen opening his car door in the parking at 908 N. Elm St. at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 21 and smashing it into a vehicle parked next to it, causing damage to the neighboring car.

Identity thefts reported

• Eight residents reported someone used their personal information to file unemployment claims between Oct. 14 and 26. The residents live in the 100 block of North Washington Street, the 300 block of West 57th Street, the 10 block of North Stough Street, the 300 block of Radcliffe Way, the 800 block of Stough Street, the 400 block of Briargate Terrace, the 100 block of Hillcrest Avenue and the 100 block of South Garfield Avenue

• Information belonging to a resident of the 100 block of Ravine Road was used to submit a class action settlement claim on Oct. 19.

Political signs swiped

Two political signs were stolen between Oct. 23 and Oct. 26, one from a home in the 400 block of East Seventh Street and one from a home in the 400 block of South County Line Road.
