Patti Conner, 66, formerly of Clarendon Hills and Westmont, died Oct. 16, 2020, with her family by her side at Anthem Memory Care Harvester Place in Burr Ridge after a 10-year struggle with early onset Alzheimer's and progressive aphasia.

Patti was an engaged community member through her service at the Clarendon Hills Presbyterian Church and Stan's Village Cleaners family dry-cleaning business, which she co-owned. She was also involved in the sports and activities of her grandchildren. Despite having Alzheimer's, Patti pursued her love of travel and achieved her goal of stepping foot in all 50 states at age 63 on a family vacation to Maui, Hawaii.

She will be remembered as a nurturing, kind, caring and loving person whose proudest accomplishment was raising two successful boys.

She is survived by her husband, Robert D. Conner; her sons, Robb (Jessica) and Kevin (Beth); her five grandchildren; her brother, Ed (Kim) Justus; and her sister, Marj (David) Freese. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Lillian Justus.

Services are private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association online at https://www.alz.org or to ALC Palliative and Hospice Care, 477 E. Butterfield Road, Suite 400, Lombard, IL 60148.
