The village’s leaf pick-up program, which offers free, unlimited, weekly curbside collection of leaves in kraft paper yard waste bags, begins next week.
Bagged leaves should be placed in the parkway in front of the home, along the curb. Do not place bags in the street.
Pick-up will run for six weeks at the time of regularly-scheduled weekly yard waste pick-up, starting the week of Oct. 26 and ending the week of Nov. 30. Leaves will be picked up by the village’s waste hauler, Republic Services.
Leaves also may be kept on the property to be composted for use as mulch.
