Benjamin Schultz, 31, formerly of Hinsdale, passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 1, 2020, at his home in Woodridge.
Ben grew up in Hinsdale and went to The Lane School and Clarendon Hills Middle School. He was a 2007 graduate of Hinsdale Central High School, where he played football all four years. Ben attended Arizona State University and was a window, siding and doors salesman.
He is survived by his parents, Timothy Schultz and Jeanine Schultz; his siblings, Emily Elisabeth (fiancé Randall Paul Chenier) Schultz and Rebecca Lynn (Adam Dixon) Schultz; his nephew, Jacob Dixon; his aunt and uncles, Janet Ekkert, JoAnne Murray, Len Ekkert, Stephen (Nancy) Schultz, Anna Schultz and Joe Schultz; and his cousins, Daria Ekkert, Scott, Sandy, Eric, Paul, Matt, Joanna, and Theresa Schultz.
He was preceded in death by his aunt, Kristine Peterson.
A memorial service was held Sept. 9.
