Frances A. Molloy

Frances Molloy, nee McGinnis, 89, passed away peacefully Aug. 9, 2020.

Frances was born in Chicago to John and Frances McGinnis and was a former resident of Clarendon Hills.

She adored painting and playing the piano. She was happiest with her family, and loved the lively conversation held by her many children and grandchildren.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Peter C. Molloy; and her son, Matthew J. Molloy; her granddaughter, Anna Molloy; and her brother, Jack (the late Patsy) McGinnis.

She is survived by her children, Mary Pat Molloy, Fran (Desmond) Jones, Cathy Molloy, Noreen (the late Tom) Corbett, Pete (Julie) Molloy, Margaret “Brown” Molloy, Jeanne (Art) Holecek and Tom Molloy; her grandchildren, Moira (Jackson) Frost, Connor Corbett, Caitrin (Jones) Gruchot, Megan (Holecek) McNamara, Molly Corbett, Peter Molloy, John Holecek, Ryan (Virginia) Brown, Frannie Jones, Jack Molloy, Ellie Corbett, Gareth Jones, Matt Holecek, Pat Corbett, Michael Molloy, Declan Brown, Kelly Holecek, TJ Molloy and Mairead Brown; her great-grandchildren, EJ Frost and Ariah Corbett; her siblings, Mary (the late James) Lynch and Arthur (Nancy) McGinnis; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A private funeral Mass will be said at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, at Notre Dame Church, 64 Norfolk Ave., Clarendon Hills.

Interment is at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
