The Friends of the Hinsdale Public Library sponsored the HPL After Dark: Jammin' in the Stacks concert by presenting jazz singer Typhanie Monique Jan. 31. Described as a "bold, engaging performer with the ability to reach straight to the heart of her listeners," Monique didn't disappoint the near capacity crowd. The next HPL After Dark event is set for Friday, April 17, when the works of Frida Kahlo 2020 will be discussed.
