Maureen Anita Petell, nee McMahon, 85, a longtime Hinsdale resident, passed away Jan. 16, 2020.
Maureen, 85, was born in 1934 in Chicago to James and Mary McMahon and was a retired nurse.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Petell; her brothers, James (Kay) and Robert McMahon; and her sisters, Marjorie (Ron) Fraider and Marilyn Benoit.
She is survived by her brother-in-law, Daniel B. Benoit; and her stepchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A funeral Mass was said Jan. 18 at St. Isaac Jogues in Hinsdale.
Brian Powell Funeral Directors of Hinsdale handled the arrangements.
