Hinsdale police distributed the following reports Dec. 4 and 11

DUI arrest

Raymond T. West, 47, 8 Bradford Lane, Oak Brook, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding and improper lane use at 11:15 p.m. Dec. 3 at Ogden Avenue and County Line Road. He was charged and released to appear in court.

Domestic battery arrest

A 50-year old Hinsdale man was arrested Dec. 9 for making contact of an insulting or provoking nature with a female family member. He was charged and taken to DuPage County Jail.

Suspended license arrest

Joanna M. Smith, 34, 5655 W. Washington Blvd., No. 3, Chicago, was arrested for driving with a suspended license at 7:58 a.m. Dec. 8 at Route 83 and Ogden Avenue. She was charged and released to appear in court.

Street signs stolen

Street signs from Bruner and Maple streets and Bruner and Chicago Avenue were reported stolen at 4:10 p.m. Dec. 6. The post at Bruner and Chicago was bent and damaged.

Digital harassment

A resident of the 10 block of South Stough Street received electronic messages of a harassing nature from a known suspect at 11:50 p.m. Nov. 30. The incident was reported Dec. 1.

Identity theft incident

The identity of a resident of the 600 block of Harding Road was used to open a debit card with a bank, to rent a car in Pittsburgh and in an attempt to access the victim’s existing credit card accounts between Nov. 23 and Dec. 6

Hit-and-run reported

Someone hit a vehicle parked in the student lot at Hinsdale Central High School, 5500 S. Grant St., between 7 a.m. and noon Nov. 23 and did not leave a note. The front drivers side was damaged.
