Hinsdale police distributed the following reports Sept. 10.

DUI arrests

• Justin S. Campagnolo, 24, 51 W. Monroe St., Villa Park, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood-alcohol content higher than .08 at 8:11 p.m. Sept. 1 at KLM Park, 5901 S. County Line Road.

Police responded to a report of a car that had crashed into a light pole. Campagnolo was charged and released to appear in court.

• Ricardo R. Galarza, 49, 5505 W. 18th St., Cicero, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood-alcohol content higher than .08, stopping/standing/parking where prohibited, disobeying a stop sign, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and making an improper turn at 12:56 a.m. Sept. 8 at 55th Street and Route 83. He was charged and released to appear in court.

• Arthur M. Hernandez, 34, 1541 Bristol Ave., Westchester, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and resisting a peace officer at 10:03 p.m. Sept. 8 at Chicago Avenue and Washington Street. Police were dispatched to a report of an impaired driver. Hernandez was charged and released to appear in court.

Copper gutters taken

Two suspects were observed on video surveillance loading copper gutters, valued at $2,300, into a silver pick-up truck between 4:30 and 4:44 a.m. Sept. 4 at RML Specialty Hospital, 5601 S. County Line Road. The gutters had been piled up on the ground, out of view of the street, before they were stolen.

Forgery reported

Two suspects paid their bill with 13 counterfeit $20 bills at 8:15 p.m. Aug. 30 at Il Poggiolo, 8 E. First St. The incident was reported Sept. 3.
