    Jane Dahl Sakala, 97, of Hinsdale, died peacefully on July 22, 2022, her grandchildren holding her hands. Jane was born in Cleveland in 1925 to John "Bud" and Clara Pedlar Dahl. Bud relocated the family to La Grange, after finding good work during the Great Depression.     Hinsdale firefighters were called out before 5 a.m. Thursday, May 19, to extinguish a truck whose trailer was on fire on First Street. The truck was about to make a delivery to Einstein Bros. Bagels at 54 S. Washington St. The rear brakes on the truck's trailer reportedly locked up and caused the fire on each side of the trailer's exterior.     Hinsdale firefighters and police responded to assist Clarendon Hills personnel with a fatal accident involving a train and truck shortly after 8 a.m. Wednesday. According to reports on the scene, a box truck was unable to clear the tracks at Prospect Avenue and was struck by an inbound METRA commuter train.     A person driving by the home at 323 W. North St. noticed flames coming from the roof Monday afternoon, called 911 and notified residents of the fire. The house was evacuated safely and there were no reported injuries. Crews from 14 other local fire departments assisted Hinsdale firefighters in extinguishing the blaze.     A downed primary power line behind a garage in the 400 block of North Adams Street caused a fire in the 3/4 car, two-story structure Monday afternoon.
