The Hinsdale Central girls wrestling team won 14 matches at last Saturday's IHSA sectional meet. "They weren't afraid to compete," said freshman boys coach Pat Kohl, who also led the eight-member girls team of (first row, from left) Makenzie Ford, Sofia Arain, Tiyanna Hart, Seana Gavin, (second row) Naomi Schaller, Guadalupe Lara, Ren Pang and Chloe Black. Kohl credited his first-time wrestlers for having the courage to step into a unchartered endeavor and for making signficant progress within an abbreviated inaugural season schedule.
