McAndrews
Kathleen W.
McAndrews, formerly of Clarendon Hills, died at her home in
Florida Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008.
Ms. McAndrews, 62, was born Nov. 5, 1945, in Clarendon Hills.
She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Wentz, Windy Pendill and
Heidi Kunstman; her loving friend and companion, Gary Koder;
her sisters, Mary Vishny and Maggie Caruso; her brothers,
Edward McAndrews and James McAndrews; and her granddaughter,
Kori DeWitt.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at
Bronswood Cemetery, 3805 Madison St., Oak Brook.
Margaret J.
Smith
Margaret J. Smith, a
resident of Hinsdale, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008, at
Adventist Hinsdale Hospital.
Mrs. Smith, 80, was born Feb. 28, 1928 in Chicago.
She was a member of Notre Dame Parish for 40 years and worked in
religious education for 32.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Sally Minton; and brother,
Vincent Golik. She is survived by her husband, Owen;
children, Lisa (Mark) Micetich and Tara Sucha;
grandchildren, Morgan and Maggie; and many nieces and
nephews.
A funeral Mass was held Wednesday, Nov. 5, at Notre Dame Church in
Clarendon Hills. Interment was private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Notre Dame
Teachers Endowment Fund, 64 Norfolk Ave., Clarendon Hills,
IL 60514.
Arrangements were made by Gibbons Elliston Funeral Home in
Hinsdale.
